Cochran is the latest in a long line of skiing Cochrans; his grandfather was the U.S. head coach in 1974, his dad and three aunts were Olympians and he has three relatives currently on the U.S. Ski Team.

Deneen's dad, the part-time owner of a ski resort in Washington, put him on skis before his first birthday. He began racing alpine but got hooked on moguls by watching freestyle skiers.
Todd Lodwick

Todd Lodwick who returned to competition after a two year retirement, redefined the idea of U.S. success in nordic combined, right from his first international meet. He won that first competition - an International Cup meet, as they called it in those days - to open the 1994 Olympic season and has piled up unprecedented success for an American: Junior World Championships gold in 1996, six World Cup wins, the 2004 Grand Prix championship in the World Cup season and Summer Grand Prix title, and eight straight seasons of being in the top nine world rankings. Lodwick is looking to become the first American five-time Olympic skier and more.
Lindsey Vonn
US Ski and Snowboard
She competed in the 2002 and 2006 Olympic Winter Games as Lindsey Kildow before marrying skier Thomas Vonn, who is also her coach. As a child, she began skiing at 3 years old, began racing at 7 and competing internationally at 9.
