St. Onge, 26, swept the U.S. Championships and World Championships in 2009, marking a steep ascent from a pack finisher to a medal favorite heading into 2010. Prior to his 2009 breakout, which also included a pair of World Cup victories, St. Onge had not won a major event since 2006. St. Onge joins fellow Olympic veteran Jeret "Speedy" Peterson as Americans aerialists to watch in Vancouver.

 Personal

The son of a freestyle official, St. Onge began skiing at 2 and joined the Winter Park freestyle program in the mid-1990s after his family moved from Connecticut to Colorado. He skied combined before taking up aerials. St. Onge made the U.S. Ski Team at 14, medaled with older brother, Chad, at the 1997 Junior World Championships and won the 2000 Junior World Championship.

St. Onge, who can also ski moguls, enjoys mountain biking, scuba diving and sailing.
