Vancouver Watch
At 16 years old, Hollingsworth was awarded the 2006 "Rookie of the Year" at the 24th Annual U.S. Open of Snowboarding Championships in Stratton, for being the only female to earn final berths in the quarterpipe, superpipe and slopestyle events.
She had a breakout season in 2008 competing against the top females in halfpipe to make a name for herself at a young age. After taking silver at the 2006 Junior Worlds, she joined U.S. Snowboarding's Project Gold program which earned her a spot on the U.S. Snowboarding team where she has been moving up in the ranks ever since.
Personal
Hollingsworth started snowboarding at age 6 on Vermont's Bromley Mountain after watching her brothers in the sport for several years and following in their footsteps. When she is not on the slopes, the Stratton Mountain School student enjoys skateboarding and surfing.
