 Vancouver Watch

Still one of the most dominant snowboard cross female athletes on the scene, she took the competition at the 2009 Winter X Games earning another gold medal in snowboard cross. During the gold medal final of the snowboard cross at the 2006 Olympic Winter Games, she fell on her second to last jump when attempting a method grab, moving her from a gold to silver medal. Four years later, she has the chance to claim the top spot that slipped through her fingers.

 Personal

Also known as "Lucky Lindsey," she began her snowboarding career at the encouragement of her brother Ben, a champion snowboarder himself. She went on to train at the Stratton Mountain Snowboarding School before entering the Winter X Games in boardercross at age 15.

She's one of the few snowboarders to compete in boardercross, slopestyle and half pipe snowboarding events.
