Just one of three X Game riders who have won SuperPipe gold twice (with Shaun White and Todd Richards), Fisher has made six consecutive Winter X Games appearances. He earned the title of overall champion at two X Games appearances and is a 2007 superpipe gold medalist.
Personal
From St. Louis Park, a suburb outside of Minneapolis, Fisher began snowboarding at an early age and learned to ride on his home mountain of Buck Hill, the home to one of the first halfpipes in the Midwest. He began competing in local competitions at age 8 and qualified for the United States of America Snowboard Association nationals by 9 years old. He went pro in 2002 when he was asked by the U.S. Snowboarding Team to compete in the 2002 Olympic halfpipe event.
Fisher is an avid hiker and writes for several online sports blogs. He is involved with the Prostate Cancer Foundation and is working with their Athletes for a Cure program, helping build awareness of the disease.
