After two seasons of solid finishes at U.S. Championships and a top-15 finish at World Juniors, Taylor Fletcher joins brother, Bryan, on the U.S. Ski Team. Fletcher grew up skiing and competing with the Steamboat Springs Winter Sports Club. Fletcher continued to ski with the club until being named to the U.S. Ski Team. On the eve of final 2010 Olympic selection, Fletcher scored his first World Cup points in January during a race in Val di Fiemme, Italy, finishing 29th.

Flechter had an impressive 2009 season with World Cup starts and a top 15 finish at World Juniors.

FIRST TRACKS

Born in Steamboat Springs, Colo., Fletcher could practically ski before he could walk. His father, a ski patroller, and mother, a real estate agent played a huge role getting Fletcher on skis and involved in sports at an early age. However, it was following the footsteps of his older brother, Bryan, that led him to competition. At the ripe age of 4, Fletcher was enrolled at the Steamboat Springs Winter Sports Club with Bryan, his role model. Since then it has been full steam ahead for Fletcher.
