SKI: Stephens Repeats SC In World Cup
January 10, 2008
ABTENAU, Austria (Jan. 10) - Reigning disabled alpine World Cup super G champion Laurie Stephens (sit-ski; Wenham, MA) led U.S. skiers Thursday, coming in third for the second day in a row in a super combined, which mixed a super G and one run of slalom. "Laurie skied consistently. She's not at the top of her game and she still has a ways to go, but to be back on the podium consistently is great for her," said Head Coach Ray Watkins.
